Star has been shown at the MID MO ALL CURLY SHOW Aug 2004 and May 2005. MID STATES CURLY
CLASSIC IL Oct 2004, Oct 2005 and Oct 2006. NWI CURLY SHOW IN March 2006 and March 2007. She
has won numerous ribbons and trophies over the years. When Star enters the show arena, she knows it
and she has a calm about her that makes the rider at ease when showing. Several young girls, between
the ages of 8 and 12, have ridden Star in Curly and have had tremendous success. At the NWI Curly
Show one of the 9 year old girls won Reserve Grand Champion Youth on Star. The same day, Star also
won, Over All High Point Grand Champion.
Star has been shown in Halter, Showmanship, Western pleasure, English pleasure, and Novelty classes.
She shows better in Western and we have been asked several times over the years if she is gated
bacause of her SLOW steady trot and canter.
Star is considered a straight haired curly, in the winter months she gets waves and some curls. Star is also
eligable for ICHO registration for interested parties.
